Copperhead County Experimental Update 2
Hello outlaws,
I've updated the Experimental Branch again, as discussed in my last post.
I was lucky enough to get to test these experimental changes last night, and I was very happy with them. I felt like downtime made more sense, giving positions to projects felt really natural, and when we did experience consequences for projects, it added a lot of possibility to the action.
The only thing I had some doubt about was Rest, which I've decided to address by reinstating the "If you don't Live Large during downtime, take stress equal to your Burnout" mechanic. I really like this mechanic, but was concerned it could be fiddly and easy to miss. I've tried to address that by including it in the wrap-up instructions for downtime.
That's all for now. I'm looking forward to completing more of the book and kicking more tires on these changes. I feel like they'll stay for the long haul.
